Amara La Negra is a boss, and she just dropped a song and music video for women who run shit, too.

“What a Bam Bam,” the Miami dominicana’s first single since signing a multimillion-dollar, multi-album record deal with Fast Life Entertainment Worldwide and BMG, is a poppy dembow banger for independent ladies. Sampling Sister Nancy’s dancehall hit “Bam Bam,” she delivers a stimulating tune with an empowering message.

“Digan ‘whoa,’ las mujeres que no, que no les hace falta un hombre para vivir feliz,” she sings. “Digan ‘whoa,’ si tu es la que manda.”

The Love & Hip-Hop: Miami star premiered the vibrant vid, produced by Montoya el Duro, Tuesday on TIDAL. Watch Amara tear up an MIA pool party over on the music streaming site.
