Cardi B May Perform At Coachella While Seven Months Pregnant
Cardi B has been denying pregnancy rumors for weeks, but gossip around her alleged gestation is only intensifying.
Despite the “Bodak Yellow” rapper attempting to stop speculation about a bun in her oven by saying she just wants to “fat in peace” on Instagram last month, TMZ is now claiming she is expected to give birth in July. If this is true, it means the Dominican-Trinidadian star will be seven months pregnant when she performs at Coachella on April 15 and 22.
She wouldn’t be the first artist to take the stage while expecting. Back in 2009, rapper M.I.A., then nine months pregnant, performed “Swagger Like Us” alongside Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I. and Lil Wayne at the 51st Grammy Awards.
If pregnant, the baby would be Cardi’s, born Belcalis Almanzar, first and her fiance’s, Offset, third.
There is one delivery, however, that is certain to come soon: the rapper’s first album. At Sunday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, she announced she would drop her coveted debut album in April.
