Classic Outfits Worn By Latinas To The Grammys
The 61st Annual Grammy Awards will be taking place this Sunday, and you know what that means! Along with the myriad of show-stopping performances that will be conducted by our favorite artists, we’ll also be treated to a red carpet parade of dazzling fashion ensembles before the show. We couldn’t be more excited to catch a glimpse of our favorite Latina artists representing to all of the world the spectrum of culture that is Latinidad in all its expression.
This year, Latina nominees include Cardi B for her blockbuster album “Invasion of Privacy”, Camila Cabello for her live performance of “Havana”‘, and vocal powerhouses Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato for their power-ballad duet, “Fall In Line”. We can’t wait to see what our favorite Latina artists will be wearing, as Latin music stars have never failed to deliver memorable outfits in the past! In celebration of the great fashion to come, we’ve compiled a list of 20 classic outfits worn by Latinas to The Grammys.

Of course, we’re obligated to start off this list with Jennifer Lopez’s timeless plunging green Versace dress that she wore to the Grammys in 2000. It’s arguably the most famous dress worn to the Grammys ever–let alone the most famous one worn by a Latina. The most incredible thing about this outfit is that she looks as incredible 19 years later as she did back then.

The 1991 Grammy Awards established Mariah Carey as a global phenomenon. Not only did she win two Grammys–one for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and another for Best New Artist, she also wowed the audience by wearing a stunning black mini-dress with crystal straps.
