In the weeks since her overdose, Demi Lovato has received an unfaltering outpour of support from her fans. Celebrities, friends and those who luck up to her have sent her countless messages of support via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Now, in a recent update from the singer about her health and future, her fans and supporters are standing behind her as she moves forward.

On Sunday, Lovato released her first public statement since her overdose last month.

After suffering from an overdose on July 24th, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. In the days following the incident, fans of Lovato had not heard from the singer until Sunday. In a statement to the public, Lovato wrote of her appreciation for the fans, family, team, and staff the at the hospital where she stayed for their help in her recovery. “I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery,” she wrote. “I will keep fighting.”

In response to her posts, various celebrities offered more of their comments of support. Jennifer Lopez “Oh baby…sending you love” and Luis Fonsi replied to her post with “Mucho amor Demi. We love you”.

In the weeks since her overdose, Demi’s fans have revealed just how dedicated they are to her.
