Latinas showed up to the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday with flawless appearances and vigorous performances that completely slayed us. From Jennifer Lopez’s suave three-piece suit to Xtina and Demi’s powerful performance of this year’s ultimate female anthem, the show proved to the world, once again, that the music industry is currently being powered by Latinas.

How did Latinas slay us? Let us count the ways…

There was the moment J.LO stepped out in a fly Zoot suit by Tom Ford.

When it comes to her performances on stage Jennifer Lopez keeps her style pretty consistent. We can always count on a flash of skin-baring looks that boasts tons of glitter and heat. La Boricua switched things up though for her performance last when she showed up in a smart white three-piece suit while singing her new single, “Dinero.” The outfit which was paired with a jeweled bustier and bedazzled gloves, gave off major Michael Jackson vibes that Twitter could not stop talking about.

JLO performed the song live for the first time on the award show stage with Dj Khaled. The singer kept up her hustle with her Zoot suit trousers and a 40’s era gangster vibe that had the crowd in a roar. The only thing missing from the performance was Cardi B who delivered a verse via video.

Cardi B and Camila Cabello both took home awards on Sundays. Cabello accepted a Billboard Chart Achievement Award while Cardi B, who was home, was acknowledged as Billboard’s Top Rap Female Artist. The two singer salso made up Billboard’s Top New Artist female nominees which was rounded out by 21 Savage, Khalid and Kodak Black.

For Billboard’s Chart Achievement Award, the two Caribeñas also made up the female half of nominees, with Cabello taking home the award. For Top Female Artist, Camila Cabello, Cardi B and Demi Lovato joined Halsey and Taylor Swift (who took home the prize) as nominees.

The two Latinas left Twitter in shambles after their poignant duet of the song they premiered last week. It didn’t take long for fans to shout out their love for the two vocalists who demonstrated  their insane vocal range and which displayed why their pairing just makes so much damn sense.

The big moment where Camila Cabello’s performance with Pharrell  was red hot.

The two artists teamed up for a sultry performance of their duet “Sangria Wine” and set the house on fuego. Performing the song on a set of red glittery hills Cabello brought her epic dance moves to the stage in black suit that gave off a major Latin flare. She then, of course, stole the rest of the show with her segue into a solo performance of the signature hit “Havana.”

Which was completely eclipsed by her Normani Kordei reunion.

Fifth Harmony fans have had it hard this past two years. Fans of the powerful girl group were torn in two last year when Camila Cabello went solo. They were given the gift of “Havana,” but watched as the group formed on the show “X-Factor” slowly dissipated. Rumors of infighting within the group didn’t do much to quell fears that Cabello had been driven out of the group or give hope of a reunion. Still, after years of not being seen together in public, Cabello and Kordei came together for a reunion that made fans feel whole again. The two singers posed together for a few photos at the BBMas that sent Twitter into overdrive.
