“The name of my new album is ‘Caution’ and— when is it coming out, Rocky?” Carey announces in the video before her son Rocky shouts “November 16th!” In signature diva style, Mimi sealed the video with a sultry kiss to her fans.
Produced by Butterfly MC Records/Epic Records, “Caution” is Mariah’s first studio album since 2014’s “Me.
I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse.” Her new album features original jams “GTFO” and “With You.” If they’re any indication of what Mariah is giving us, the album is fire.
Of course, as soon as Mimi made her announcement, Lambly Twitter rejoiced.

Her album’s November release date comes just in time for Mariah’s favorite time of year too. That’s right folks, the Christmas holiday season is just months away. There’s no denying that the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer has is the entertainment queen of Christmas. So it feels right that the album would come out closer to the holiday season (fingers crossed she drops a new holiday fave for us too).
The album’s pre-order begins this Thursday, October 17th at 12 am ET. If you need your Mimi fix now, visit Mariah Carey’s Fan Club for a peek at her gorgeous cover art for “Caution.”
