9 Struggles Every Person With Super Straight Hair Can Relate To

Having super straight, sleek, thin hair can be a pain in the ass for several reasons. Here are just a few of them.

Can you relate?

The biggest hassle you deal with when it comes to styling straight hair is trying to curl it. And even worse, trying to keep those curls intact.

Give it half an hour and your hair is back to flat.

Hairspray might help, but you have to be careful not to use too much or you’ll end up with some extra glossy, stiff quinceañera doll curls.

It’s some Shirley Temple-looking mess.

Another impossible task is trying to add volume.

No matter how much you tease your hair, it just ends up looking like a tangled mess.

The only volume you get is from the frizz and static that comes any time the weather changes.

And humid weather is your hair’s worst nightmare.

Speaking of weather, trying to maintain your straight hair on a windy day goes a little something like this:

And if you’re wearing lip gloss, all of your hair gets stuck on your lips. It’s soooo annoying.

When it comes to hair accessories, hair ties always slip off.

You have to wear two or three so they stay on.

Other accessories, like bobby pins and hair clips, also refuse to stay put in your hair.

Like, whyyyyy won’t they cooperate??

To make matters worse, if you’re like me and have orejotas, they always stick out of your hair.

Since you don’t have big, voluminous hair, there’s nothing to cover up your Dumbo ears.

And the biggest pain of  having super straight hair is that it tangles like crazy.

This is a never ending problem.

But despite the numerous straight hair hassles, the best thing you can do is just own it.
