From Moisturizers To Serums To Masks, These Are The Products Sitting In Latinas Medicine Cabinets
Beauty products aren’t one size fits all. Deciding which serum, moisturizer or cleanser to purchase can be complicated — especially for Latinas with different skincare concerns.
Our FIERCE audience on Instagram came through with their recommendations for their favorite beauty products.

Paul Mitchell products must be the way to go because @siempre.ashley cannot live without their hair and body moisturizers.
Clinique: Take Off The Day Cleansing Balm

@alexposada’s favorite cleanser is Clinique’s cleansing balm. This product promises to quickly dissolve every kind of makeup and pollutant.
Glossier: Milk Jelly Cleanser

@vn2790 is a fan of Glossier’s Milk Jelly Cleanser. This face wash does not require much water to get your day’s full of makeup off your skin. Simply massage and watch your makeup melt off.
Micellar Water: Any Brand

Micellar water is becoming the new “it” way to take off your makeup. The gentle oils promise to lift everything off your face. @moon__stars__sun calls it her “holy grail” product.
Raw Skin Co.: African Black Soap

Life-changing products don’t come around often, but @alyssamariemendez claims that that’s what this little bar did for her. She loves this soap because it’s natural and organic. If you need another reason to try this magical bar, read the caption above.
Dr. Bronner: Pure-Castile Bar Soap

@conrazondmelon didn’t specify why she loves this bar so much, but according to the brand’s Instagram account, this can help tame eczema and psoriasis flare-ups. Sounds pretty amazing.
Coola: Makeup Setting Spray SPF 30
Credit: @coola / Instagram
You’ve probably heard your entire life how important it is to protect your skin from the sun. You’ve also probably heard about a million different sunscreen brands. @lucyfloresnv is obsessed Coola’s SPF that come in an array of fancy scents. She also swears by Coola’s organic makeup Makeup Setting Spray that says to keep your morning makeup intact throughout the night. Bonus: this setting spray has an SPF 30!
Sunday Riley: Luna Sleeping Night Oil

@adriaticcsea mentioned that she loves this night oil by Sunday Riley. This night serum contains retinol that works to smooth out and brighten your skin. Some people have experienced chapped skin when they apply retinol. Sunday Riley’s oil vows to do the opposite and hydrate your skin so you wake up with a bouncy epidermis.
Aztec Secret: Indian Healing Clay

We knew this mask was a favorite for smoothing out skin, but @scattered_omens uses it for eeeeverything. She has seen good results on acne, burns, chub rubs and even uses it as a deodorant. Who knew?!
Brujita Skin Care: Vegan Crema
Credit: @brujitaskincare / Instagram
Yay for Latina beauty brands! And a double shoutout for brands that are cruelty-free. @vanesz32._ fully supports Brujita Skincare’s vegan moisturizer which is made with Bulgarian rose wax, cocoa butter, rose hydrosol (rose water) and grapeseed oil. Basically all good stuff that is meant to hydrate and fight breakouts — everything we need this summer.
Drunk Elephant: Protini Polypeptide Cream
Credit: @drunkelephant / Instagram
People on Instagram seem to have nothing bad to say about this cream (just read above). But @allieofthevallie put it bluntly on our post, “so freakin moisturizing,” so we’ll take her word for it.
Summer Fridays: Jet Lag Mask
Credit: @summerfridays / Instagram
If you’re looking for a good sheet mask, @mayrarosas30 says Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask is it. Some of the biggest influencers (yes, of color) swear by it as well. All you need is 10 minutes and this should work its magic.
Tatcha: Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
Credit: @tatcha / Instagram
We mostly think of mists and sprays as something you throw on after your makeup, but Tatcha’s mist — as recommended by @h0neybaked — can go on before you apply your makeup to work as a primer.
Thayers Natural: Witch Hazel Mist
Credit: @thayersnatural / Instagram
Rose and hazel products are new favorites in the beauty community. With Thayers Natural, you can get both in one bottle. They offer three Witch Hazel mists that come in lavender, rose petal and cucumber to refresh your skin when needed. Thanks for the heads up, @opskarwoski!
Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara
Credit: @toofaced / Instagram
Because of its ability to add an insane amount of volume to lashes, this mascara has been a top-seller at Sephora. The high sales are in part thanks to @julie_mariana7 since this is one of the items she can’t live without.
Burt’s Bees: Tinted Lip Balm
Credit: @burtsbees / Instagram
When lipstick seems like too much of a commitment, tinted lip balm is the perfect backup. Tinted lip blams provide just a hint of color and are more forgiving than lipstick when the color starts to fade. Plus, it’s one of @j.e.a.n.m.u‘s must-haves.
Red Lipstick

We had an overwhelming number of mujeres tell us that they cannot live without a bold red lipstick.
