If you’ve ever wondered what reactions were like the first time human beings discovered fire, electricity and cafecito, hop on over to Twitter ASAP. In the past 24 hours, the platform has exploded with comments about a new discovery surrounding the beauty tool of beauty tools: the Beautyblender, created by Latina reina, Rea Ann Silva.
According to Twitter, the pricey sponge you’ve been too busy to clean can be made practically brand new if you pop it into a microwave.

Julianna Asouzu is a 19-year-old student from London had seen a few videos of the cleaning hack on Instagram when she recently decided to try it out herself. Like us, she was completely amazed when, after following the instructions to a T, ended up with a squeaky clean Beautyblender.
Your beloved Beautyblender can also come out as clean as a whistle IF you follow the instructions!

Asouzu’s post has received over 28K retweets in just the past 24 hours. Videos upon videos have been posted to Twitter to prove that you don’t have to live with a foundation-caked sponge for the rest of your life after all. In fact, all you need to do (according to Twitter) is plop your sponge in a mug, add WATER and soap, and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Then, CAREFULLY remove the mug from the microwave because the water you added will be piping hot.
See!

Don’t do that! Follow the easy instructions CLOSELY.
Remember that the key component to this quick fix is WATER, of course. Because if you forget it then…
